syncreon Windsor Hosts Hundreds at Job Fair
Hundreds of hopeful candidates attended a job fair hosted by syncreon in Windsor, Ontario on Saturday, January 16, 2016. The Canadian syncreon facility received 500 applicants, each interested in a chance at one of 60 open positions at the site.
syncreon Windsor supports a major Automotive OEM by providing outsourced logistic services from a nearby warehouse and logistic services center. Within the 754,400 ft2 (70,111 m2 )
facility, syncreon employees perform a full range of support functions including receiving parts from Tier 1 suppliers, kitting related parts together, sequencing and delivering the correct parts at the correct time to meet final assembly requirements, and managing all of the small parts and packaging materials associated with the operation.
“We’ve been very pleased with the turnout,” said Jim Barnett, President Automotive, Americas for syncreon, “We have a range of good career opportunities now. Many of our current employees have been with the company for years and have advanced with the company. A lot of the candidates on Saturday showed the kind of capabilities and enthusiasm that syncreon is looking for. The fair was a great event for syncreon and I hope it was valuable for all that turned out.”
