syncreon Dubai Supports Children in Kenya
Dubai Irish is a community-based nonprofit football club founded in 1997 with its youth setup commencing in 2017.
Since 2018 Shaun Walsh, operations manager, Dubai, has given his spare time as one of 30 volunteer football coaches for 180 children who attend twice weekly sessions.
In November 2020, the group created the “Spare a kit for a kid” initiative, an outreach program aimed at collecting used football gear which is cleaned, then distributed to children less fortunate.
As part of this initiative, Dubai Irish established a connection with Happy House Orphanage/School in Watanu, Kenya. More than 41.5 percent of children in Kenya live below the poverty line. Through this relationship the group assembled 110 football kits and donated them to Happy House.
This is a great example of creative community outreach which syncreon proudly supports – well done!
