These are truly unprecedented times. We are working to support each other and do as much as we can to demonstrate our commitment to you as we persevere through a time that will certainly continue to challenge us all personally, professionally and as citizens in global communities.
We continue to closely monitor the status of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) around the globe. syncreon has robust Business Continuity and Recover Plans (BCRP) for all our sites and these have now been invoked. Our senior leadership team meet daily to address the impact of this global pandemic. This is a rapidly evolving situation and we are adopting a flexible and dynamic approach. At strategic level our focus is both to protect our employees and to ensure operational business continuity.
At a tactical level we have established teams across all our key global sites covering over 16,000 employees worldwide. These teams work at a site and global level to ensure:
Prevention
We are committed to keeping all employees up to date on Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we work closely with the local authorities across the globe to provide the best possible guidance to reduce exposure to and transmission of the coronavirus. We have activated our Emergency Response teams to review all public health information available to us alongside any information being provided by the relevant Health and Safety Authority in each country. Social distancing measures and hygiene rules have been implemented in all our facilities. We are also asking our global employees to work virtually and our field-based teams to work with our customers through digital channels. We are an international team who is committed to continuing to support you as we deliver high quality service, just when you may need us the most.
Contingency
Business Continuity and Recovery Plans available for all sites with specialist pieces on epidemics shared worldwide.
Monitoring
Daily checks on volume impacts, downtime, suspected and confirmed cases at each location, hygiene supplies, contingency plans and RACI models are now in place.
Customer Mgmt.
Regular updates to customers on the status of BCRP, daily calls with certain customers in place to have a partnership on enacting any contingency plans.
Business Impact
Legal & Finance working on any impact to supply chains and associated business finance risks.
Communications
Regular global communications with updates from relevant authorities including: WHO/CDC/ECDC. Daily Q&A with all sites for outstanding questions or advice.
