syncreon Awarded Boston Scientific’s 2013 Supplier Achievement Award

On Wednesday March 26, syncreon’s Pat Burke and Darren Casey attended for the Boston Scientific Galway 2013 Supplier Achievement Awards to accept the award in behalf of the company.
Each year BSC Galway reviews and rates the performance of its suppliers. They look at key areas: Quality, Cost, Service and Innovation. Suppliers that BSC feels have contributed most in terms of the above are selected to receive awards.
This year syncreon was chosen based on the fact that the company contributed an effective solution to an business challenge that BSC encountered in 2013. This coupled with the the general manner in which syncreon has engaged with BSC over the years made BSC want to recognize syncreon.
The syncreon & Boston Scientific Story
First established in Ireland in 1994, Boston Scientific has grown to be the largest medical device employer in Ireland. Through its 3 Irish sites – located in Clonmel, Cork, and Galway – the company exports approximately 10 million medical devices worldwide annually, including stents, balloons, platinum coils, catheters, inflation devices, pacemakers and ICDs. Boston Scientific products are exported from Ireland by either Air for USA and Asia markets and by truck for European markets which is where syncreon is the carrier of choice.
