syncreon Inspires – Welcome Talented Interns!
syncreon is making an effort to foster young, emerging talent!
In addition to our 14,000+ employees worldwide, we employ interns who are both students and recent graduates. Our interns provide us with fresh insights, new ideas and unique perspectives.
syncreon interns represent most company departments, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Marketing, Procurement and Legal. A majority of our interns are located in the North America region, and are notably concentrated within the Auburn Hills, Michigan corporate headquarters.
Some chose internships with syncreon in order to expand upon their pursuit of a degree in their internship’s field, while others wanted to learn about something entirely new. From an IT perspective working on the development of our new AOS database, Jacob T., IT, remarked, “syncreon and its IT team have provided me a great hands-on learning experience. Everyone has been very helpful in guiding me through new concepts and assigned projects, as well as preparing me for a future in the computer science field.”
When asked to comment on their syncreon internships thus far, our interns appreciated not only the range of fun, meaningful projects in which they are involved, but also the opportunity to work with friendly, helpful managers and coworkers.
Marina E., Marketing, said, “Everyone is very welcoming and nice, and it has definitely made my experience more enjoyable,” while Rachael H., Talent Acquisition, was pleased that she “already feels a part of the HR team” despite only working for syncreon for a few weeks!
Mike Valentine, Senior Vice President of Human Resources, commented on syncreon’s internship initiative, “syncreon’s Core Value of Teamwork is the basis of our internship efforts. Our interns are exposed to an expansive network of team members not only in their physical office location, but across the globe. Using virtual programs and tools, like video conferencing and cloud-based applications, they are able to work with their fellow interns and team members in other countries and even other continents. Conversely, let me just say that some of our more ‘mature’ employees benefit from the fresh thinking of this tech-savvy millennial group.”
Many of our interns have had other internships in the past, but that hasn’t detracted from their syncreon internships being a consistently “great experience.”
Audrey D., Marketing, cited her syncreon internship as the best she’s had, saying, “I look forward to coming into work every day and I love the work that I do as well as the people who I work with. I’m so glad I chose syncreon!”
It’s clear that our interns are both enjoying and learning from their time with us. At syncreon, interns are more than just interns; they are equal, valuable members of their teams. We provide a supportive environment where interns are encouraged to challenge norms, instigate change and own their unique ideas.
