syncreon Juárez Inclusive Job Fair Brings Five New Hires
On September 28th, syncreon Juárez hosted an inclusive job fair for individuals with disabilities!
With the help of the Juárez Department of Social Development, a job fair was planned to find talented new additions to our workforce. Attendees were provided with free transportation to the event location. They were all led through the interview and screening process as any other employee candidate.
Of the seven candidates who attended, five people (pictured) were given positions at syncreon! Cecilia, Jaime, Ricardo, Lore and Juan will start as Repair Technicians on the plant’s repair lines.
Our Juárez site is well known for its inclusivity by both the local community and the Maquiladora Association, and has been actively hiring individuals with various disabilities since 2015.
Alvaro Calzada, HR Manager at syncreon Juárez, said “We’ve made several modifications, like the addition of ramps and accessible bathrooms, to allow us to receive these incredibly talented people. With the addition of these five, we’ve hired a total of 14 individuals with special needs over the last three years.”
Our new hires are excited to become a part of the team! Great job to syncreon Juárez for driving our mission of Access and Empowerment for People of All Abilities!
